About Us

Head and Spine Institute was founded in 2004 by Steve Semich, R EEG/EPT, CNIM, R PSGT a well-respected, innovative neurophysiologist practicing in Texas.

Steve Semich now serves as the CEO of Head and Spine Institute.

Steve’s training and experience began at the Naval School of Health and Sciences END school and Bethesda Maryland. Upon completion of his training, Steve serviced as leading petty officer in Neurology at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland and Clinical instructor for the Naval School of Health Sciences END School for just under 9 years. While at NNMC, Steve performed all aspects of Neurodiagnostic testing to include EEG, Evoked Potentials, P300 Cognitive testing, EMG/NCV, Epilepsy Monitoring, Sleep Medicine, Intraoperative Monitoring, etc. Upon completion of military service Steve went to work for University of Maryland Medical Systems, Department of Anesthesia to perform intraoperative monitoring. Shortly thereafter, Steve relocated to Texas to run a local regional hospital END lab prior to joining Dr. Nosnik and forming the Head and Spine Institute.
