We provide neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring for other general surgeries that put your nervous system at risk.

Our IONM clinicians are also available to provide neuromonitoring for invasive, general procedures that could cause potential hazard to nearby neural structures. These teams and tests can be adapted for any specialized OR procedures.

IONM tests relevant for general surgery may include:

• somatosensory evoked potentials (SEPs)
• motor evoked potentials (MEPs)
• brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEPs)
• electroencephalograms (EEGs)
• electromyography (EMGs)

IONM for other procedures are important if you are undergoing any of the following surgeries

• Carotid Endartectomies
• Radical Prostatectomies
• Thoracoabdominal Aneurysms
• Thyroidectomies
